Clan Rules
Sec. A — Clan Wars
Note: We do not kick players for poor attacks. If you have failed, do not apologize. Mistakes happen, or maybe you just weren't ready. In either case, use the experience to advance yourself, and prepare for the next war. However, if you intentionally failed (surrendered early, dropped and surrendered, or otherwise wasted an attack) we will kick you. We have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.
- Everyone must participate in Clan Wars. This is not optional. If you cannot participate, or expect that you may not be able to, contact rambo465 (avery) or a Co-Leader. Alternatively, post in the Barracks that you will be unable to participate. Does not apply to Spectators.
- When choosing who to attack target an opponent of the same Town Hall level, or at least 1 below or above, within at least 3 above your number on the war map or five below. (For example: If you are a Town Hall 7, placed at number 5, you can choose a target between #3-10. Provided, of course, that target is no more than 1 Town Hall level below or above you.)
- Targets with three stars must not be attacked. An attack on such a base will not count toward our score or your Win Bonus. This means you will essentially waste an attack. In the event of a one- or two-star base, you must be reasonably confident that you can achieve three stars. If all low-level players have attacked, as many stars as possible should be covered (wait until the last 5 hours before clearing the bottom of the map).
- Town Halls must not be sniped (such as on a Farming layout, where the Town Hall is open to easy destruction). Unless you can achieve at least three stars on the base, sniping will only harm us. After we are reasonably certain that we will win the war (the last two hours, with at least 15 stars or more) you may snipe, if the base has not already been defeated.
- War Donors are as follows: Kaze no Yuki (L2 Dragon, L4 Wizard); Emperor Lazorrr (L4 Archer); Rambo465 (L4 Archer); Clash Clan (L4 Archer). You cannot request outside of: Dragon, Wizard, or Archer—we will not fill these requests. We donate Dragons first, if possible, then Wizards, and use Archers to fill any remaining spots. If you find yourself capable of holding a Dragon, but prefer Wizards, please request Wizards. If you have more than 3 Archers, please remove them and we will provide Wizards, then fill the remaining space with Archers.
- Clan War reservations must be respected. Providing the above rules have been followed, anyone can call any base. At the beginning of every Clan War following 7-22-2014, a Reserved list will be posted. These reservations are "first hits" and will determine who can attack which base, and at which point. During the Preparation Day, individuals may reserve a base (up to three reservations per base, as any one person can attack a base only once), though afterward any unclaimed bases will be free-for-all, in accordance with the above rules.
- Wars are started on Saturday, and run through to Sunday.
Sec. B — Donations
- We require all members maintain a donation ratio of 1:5. In addition, all members must donate at least 50 per week, regardless of how many they have received, to prove their activity.
- Donations must match the request. Donations that defy the request will not count towards promotion. If you repeatedly donate against the wishes of the requester, you will be demoted, ruled ineligible for promotion, or kicked.
Sec. C — Clan Chat
- We speak English, and for correspondent purposes, we require all members have at least a basic grasp of the language.
- We require all members maintain a PG-13 level of profanity. This is determined by the context and intensity of the word, rather than social bias of the word itself.
- Bigotry, spam, inflammatory comments and recruiting are prohibited.
Sec. D — Promotions
- Elder: To reach Elder, one must donate 250 troops, in accordance with Section B.
- Co-Leader: At present, all Co-Leader positions are filled. There may be openings in the future, though there remains a vetting period of at least 30 days. During this time, your performance, loyalty and activity will be observed. Following that period, the Leader and Co-Leaders will decide if you have earned the promotion. You will not be notified of this observation, nor will we tell you your results. This is so that you are not biased to change your behavior.
Clashers operates on a three-strike system. Repetitive violations of these rules will result in demotion or expulsion.
